Entries for Livestock and exhibitors

Entries for livestock and exhibitors will be accepted from TBA  Late entries are accepted; however, there will be a $25.00 late entry fee for all entries after the closing date which is August 24th.  No Exceptions.

 

Remember!

You must submit your Livestock entry and entry fees online at our web site.  The link is on the Livestock page or here on the Entry Form link. Rabbits and Poultry entries will be taken on-site only Wednesday, between 9 am to 8 pm.  For more information contact Tasha Donaldson at (928)792-6116.  

 

General and school exhibits will be taken on-site only between 10 am to 8 pm, 4-H noon to 7 pm, Wednesday September 20, 2023 at the new Exhibit Building. Exhibit entries will not be accepted online.  For more information about exhibits go to the Exhibits page.  

 

HOURS

 

Grounds close approximately an hour after gates close; some exhibits close earlier.  The barns close at 8 pm every evening.  After that, they are off limits to anyone that does not have an animal that they are showing.

 

Times for different events:

 

Livestock:  8:00 am to 5:00 pm Thursday and Friday. 8:00 am to 3:00 Saturday.

Exhibits:  8:30 am to 7:00 pm Thursday, Friday and Saturday

Rodeo:  7:00 pm until Rodeo ends

Dance:  Friday and Saturday, 9:00 pm to 1:00 am.

 

 

Admission

 

Adults                                    $4.00

Children under 6                   free

Four day pass for public is $12.00 per person

Four day pass for exhibitors is $9.00 per person

If you have not purchased an arm band in advance of the fair, you may purchase one at the admission gate. You must have an armband to enter the grounds.

 

Parking

 

Parking is free; however, please be sure to only park in designated areas.

 

How to Get to the Fair

 

The Fairgrounds where the Grant County Fair is located is in Cliff, NM approximately 30 miles NW of Silver City on Highway 180 West.

BUYER AND PERSONAL PHOTOGRAPHS

 

Elite Photography, Billy & Debbie Collard, will be taking your picture orders at the fair, where there will be packages available for purchase.  Details regarding livestock pictures have changed this year.  Please view the Picture Procedure poster for more information.
